A few weekends ago we house/dog-sat for some friends.
It has been a while that I have had a day where there was nothing I had to do. So, I started the day off with a few favorites:
sleeping in and playing outside in beautiful Fall weather. David also gave me an intro lesson to his camera, which I have been wanting to do for a while :)
David and sweet Golden Retriever Grace were willing models. And Grace didn't even act like I was weird as I rolled around in the crunchy leaves.
I also enjoyed curling up inside to a few books and some hot tea. Maybe I should do that more often.
Yay for a slow weekend to start off the busy holiday season!
