Cravings

First of all, allow me to preface this post by saying that I am not pregnant, and yes I am sure. And also, despite how it may sound, I am not starving, and I have food, and I actually just ate.

Sometimes I have crazy cravings. This is something that has started post-being overseas. Is it insane to say that one of the things I miss most about home is the food? Probably so. But in my experience working with others who are away from their home, when I ask them what they miss the most, after their loved ones, the next thing is usually the food. I've met Chinese international students in college who craved their dumplings and Japanese students who craved their "real" sushi. I've met Mexican students who longed for tortillas and something spicy enough to meet their standards. So I'm not the only one. If you still don't believe me, go live in another country for a while. Ha!

And since going home is somewhere in my near future, the cravings have gotten ridiculously stronger.

The last time I went home I wrote this post where I listed a few foods I was excited about eating. I have a similar list this time, but I can't list all the things I want to eat because that would be way to embarassing. But I will share just a few....(and this is just the restaurant food and doesn't include all the homemade stuff!)

So for those of you who are/have been "away from home", what are/were your cravings??

Food for thought (hehe): If food on earth is this good, what is Heaven going to be like????
