Sneaky the Cat

You may remember a few months ago, when I wrote about our pet cat Sneaky. We weren't looking for a pet, but when we found this little kitten on the road, I just couldn't leave him there.

And, as often happens with pets, we got attached. Even David (a former cat-hater) got attached to the cat.

We had planned on bringing him with us to the US, but we have since decided that it is complex enough bringing a husband to the US, much less a pet.

This was a hard decision, but we are thankful that we have found a good home for him. A vet has adopted him (who better to care of him than that?) And the vet also has other pets, including other cats, a turtle, and monkey. So, Sneaky will have a good home and interesting friends.

So here's to Sneaky.

And yes, I am aware it looks like my front teeth are missing because Sneaky's ear is right in front of my mouth. oh well.

Dear Sneaky,

We are so glad we got to be your temporary parents.

We are really sorry that we thought you were a female at first.

We know you were upset. But hopefully you'll find it in your heart to forgive us.

We will miss you, but we'll always have special memories of you as our first cat.

We know you will go far in life, with your tiger-like instincts and good looks.
